Aligning to the Life of the Soul
It’s time. It’s time to truly pull back the curtain and reveal what has captivated me for the past 18 months.
Eighteen months ago, I decided that I no longer wanted to push the rock up the mountain.
Eighteen months ago, I decided to surrender to the moment, to surrender to what called to me, and to begin the practice of aligning to my soul’s path.
This meant I had to face the desire I had for the approval of others, my cravings for a socially impressive career as well as my judgment of others (and myself).
It meant I had to face my insecurities and to address the ways other people’s actions could trigger me.
Most of all, it meant I had to begin to listen to myself, to my inner voice and to align to that guidance…
At the cost of a paycheck, at the cost of how others would view me, at the cost of people thinking I’m “weird.”
And you know what happened?
The past 18 months have been the most intensive spiritual practice of my lifetime and, although I may look the same on the outside, my inside is completely different.
I have come to know the light that shines within me. I have also come to know that I am not special.
The light that lives within me, lives within you as well.
I used to think that some people were just born “special,” or were just born “spiritual” – with an inner calm, beauty, and light.
But now I know that this light lives within each and every one of us and it is patiently awaiting our attention.
To reflect everything I’ve learned in my life – and in the past 18 months – I am excited to announce that I am creating a podcast with Jordan Blaquera, my soul sister and close friend for over 30 years.
We’ve been studying and practicing aligning to the Divinity, to the light, that lives within all of us. Together, we hope to bring others along on our journey and to share in all that we have learned.
I’d love to welcome you to the discussion and to invite you to tune in to the Soul Sisters Cafe Podcast to discover what we’ve learned along our spiritual journeys. We’ll be sharing the highs and lows, the pitfalls and best tips based on our experiences.
